2025: The Year WWE Finally Broke the Spoiler Machine

2025: The Year WWE Finally Broke the Spoiler Machine

Remember when pro wrestling returns used to feel like magic? WWE brought that back in 2025 — and the insiders hate it! Here are just a few MAJOR things they missed out on.

  • Liv Morgan vanishes for 6 months → returns at Survivor Series and costs Cena the IC Title. Zero leaks.

  • AJ Lee, gone 10 years, locks in the Black Widow on Becky in Chicago SmackDown. Not a single “source” had it.

  • Brock Lesnar F-5s Cody after SummerSlam goes off air. Meltzer’s newsletter the next day: “We were told he’s done for good.”

  • Nikki Bella #30 Rumble entry, Dolph on Raw, Shayna on NXT — same story every time: the usual suspects scrambling to post “this was kept extremely tight to the vest” after they just spent weeks swearing it wasn’t happening.

The dirt sheets have become the new kayfabe testers.

If they’re confidently reporting “X is NOT returning,” just buy your popcorn, because X is 100% returning. And honestly? That’s the best thing that’s happened to WWE in years.

When the smartest marks in the room get worked harder than the casuals, the show feels alive again.

Keep missing, fellas. We’re all better off for it.
