Forbidden Door 2026 Results: Jay White Returns; Ospreay Stuns Swerve
If you have the stamina to sit through six-plus hours of wrestling, Forbidden Door 2026 offered some truly high-end work—but it also highlighted exactly why AEW’s "more is more" philosophy remains such a polarizing double-edged sword.
Between 26-minute technical grinders and a card that feels like it never wants to end, it’s easy to feel the "special" wear off. Yet, despite the bloat, the event delivered the two things that matter most: massive shocks and a clear path toward All In.
We did full reviews for WWE Night of Champions, WWE NXT Great American Bash and TNA Slammiversary. This is more of a quickie, apologies to fans wanting a full review, just a timing thing.

Overall Thoughts & Show Grade
The absolute highlight of the night was the "Switchblade" Jay White’s return to drop David Finlay, which served as the perfect "reset" button for the Bang Bang Gang. After over a year away, seeing him stand tall again in a main-event-level spot was the jolt of electricity the crowd needed.
Regarding the main event, you can critique the sheer brutality of it, but Ospreay vs. Swerve was, undeniably, a masterpiece of violence. Watching Swerve take the loss was a tough pill to swallow, but it secures Ospreay’s position as the man to beat heading into Wembley.
We also saw a major breakout for Maya World, who didn't just survive against Mercedes Moné—she pushed the "CEO" to the absolute limit. If there was any doubt about who the future of the division is, it was laid to rest here, and a star was born.
