Ciampa Lost to Andrade And Pants During AEW WrestleDream Marathon
I don't mind dumb stuff, outside of AEW.
The promotion constantly tells us how amazing their wrestling is, claiming to be better than the rest. But when you set that kind of bar, your product has to back it up.
My eyes tell a completely different story. Every single special turns into a grueling struggle to sit through a run-time that outlasts the extended edition of Return of the King.
When a four-plus-hour Sunday night marathon relies on pre-show manager antics, invisible pants-wrestling where veterans are out here selling for trousers like their lives depend on it, and endless padding just to fill the hours, the self-hype creates an impossible trap.
Pacing dictates whether a long show actually works, but an event that requires a tag-team nap rotation just to reach the finish line isn't elite television—it's an endurance test.
Fans always talk about talent “being buried”, so let me ask you.
Is Ciampa really buried after dropping another match and somehow failing to pin a pair of pants?
If he isn’t, maybe it’s time to retire “Psycho Killer” and give him a nickname that actually fits what we’re watching lately — “Former WWE Guy Who Now Can’t Pin Pants”.
