If you’ve been following the indie wrestling scene at all lately, you’ve probably noticed Airica Demia lighting up shows with her explosive energy, incredible athleticism, and that one-of-a-kind anime-inspired persona.
I first discovered her a few months ago and added her to THE List, and she instantly became one of my favorite indie talents—her character work jumps straight off the screen (or out of the ring!), grabbing your attention with every promo and move.
The comic book/anime vibes, the “Main Character” confidence, the high-flying moves… it’s all so fresh and fun in a landscape that can sometimes feel repetitive. Many reasons why she quickly became a VIP member of The List.
Well, the news we’ve all been hoping for is here: Airica Demia is reportedly set for an upcoming WWE tryout!
The 21-year-old second-generation star (daughter of The Legend of Solar) has been grinding on the independents, training at top facilities like the Dungeon 2.0 with Natalya and TJ Wilson, and turning heads everywhere she goes.
Recent reports from Wrestling News, and other outlets confirm she’s among the indie standouts and international talents invited to the next round of WWE tryouts in Orlando.
Airica herself just posted this emotional update on Instagram, and it’s giving all the feels:

This is all I have ever wanted since I stepped foot in a wrestling ring at the age of 14. Now at 21 years old…this anime girl is ready for the opportunity of a life time. 🥹
