Last night I was half-asleep, doom-scrolling NXT clips, when Blake Monroe dropped the single greatest thing I’ve seen in wrestling all year.
I immediately grabbed my phone, typed “post Blake speed fun” into my notes, and passed out. This morning I watched it again (and again… and again).
It’s called “BLAKEY DOES SPEED” and it’s exactly what it sounds like: a full-on, zero-chill speed-run of her glamorous life — but make it WWE.
Mr. Perfect used to take his sweet time showing you how flawless he was. Blake said “hold my iced latte” and did the opposite:
She crams an entire influencer shopping spree, hair flip, makeup slay, and championship-level swagger into under three minutes… and still looks better than 99% of us on our best day.
Here’s the best part: this wasn’t some polished WWE production.
She posted it herself on her personal Instagram (@blakemonroewwe) and X today — no official embed, no “WWE Studios” credit, just her tagging @WWENXT and @TheCW at the end like “oh by the way, tune in.”
She’d been teasing the hook for days (“don’t worry, i can get the job done in under 3 minutes 🫦”). She grabbed the bags, shot it, edited it, and hit post.
Because let’s be real — WWE has no fucking idea what to do with a star like her.
This glamorous, hilarious, high-energy content machine who rolled in with a built-in fanbase from her Mariah May era.
She knows it too.
And instead of just taking the money and shutting the fuck up like plenty of people would, she went full “watch this, assholes” and made the funniest Mr. Perfect spiritual sequel we’ve ever seen.
She wants MORE. She creates her own hype. And damn if it didn’t just make me a WAY bigger fan.
