Blake Picks Up Big Win Over Jaida at NXT Vengeance Day: Diamond Though?!
WWE NXT Vengeance Day got off to a wild start with a Street Fight between Blake Monroe and Jaida Parker, and man… what a banger. The two went to war right from the jump—tables, chairs, kendo sticks, the works.
Parker was popping with the crowd, hitting those big spots and soaking up the “Miss Parker!” chants like she owned the building.
Going in, I honestly had her pegged to win, or at the very least figured this was headed for a 50/50 split based on how much TV time and momentum she’s been getting lately.
Jaida just feels like the one WWE’s been building. But Blake had other plans.
In a really interesting finish, Monroe dumped a bag of diamonds across the ring, scattered the gems everywhere, then blinded Parker by throwing a handful into her face before spiking her with the Glamour Shot DDT right on top of the glittering stones for the 1-2-3.
Small problem here: WWE is now calling her a “Diamond” — nah, she’s “The Glamour”; there’s only one Diamond in pro wrestling….
