What the Hell is Happening at Bodyslam.net? Major Staff Exodus Has Fans Asking Questions
In the span of just a few days in early May 2026, multiple key staff members have stepped away from the site BodySlam.net, the personal reporters for Wrestling Atomic….a “promotion” with 3 attached pedophiles and the owner’s (Alex Red) mother is a sex trafficker.
The departures have sparked a wave of comments and speculation online, with many asking: “What’s happening over there?”
Here’s what we know so far:
Brady (Lead writer & social media manager) — Stepped away for a new opportunity elsewhere.
Cory Hays (The main creep and recently upped to “scoopster”, heavy Patreon contributor) — Stepped down to go fully independent, likely to work for Chasyn Rance, Cory can’t fully grow facial hair.
Danny Bennett (Back-end/tech, logo, graphics, and training) — Left to focus on other projects.
Fog Jones (@thefogjones) was THE cool one there — Announced on May 12 that he is stepping away, calling it a “transition” with “more news coming soon.” I wish that dude well, the rest? Meh.
Bodyslam apologized for a recent podcast interview that drew backlash.
They made an official statement on May 11 addressed the situation directly, confirming the above names and noting that older controversial tweets from Viper Reports (which resurfaced recently) were not the reason for the exits.
Additional names that have been mentioned in discussions as having stepped aside include Masked J, Cody Whoades, and Viper Reports himself.
Bottom line:
That’s a lot of turnover in a very short time for a site that’s been one of the more active outlets covering WWE, AEW, TNA, and independents like ALW.
Bodyslam says they still have writers and podcasters remaining and will “continue to operate as normal while we regroup.” Only time will tell how the site looks moving forward.
Legit questions from the audience right now — and the timing (right after some big ALW/TKO-related coverage) has people talking.
