Exclusive: Chris Jericho Heading to TNA? New AMC Promo
Possibly huge news for TNA fans: we know Thursday Night iMPACT is heading to AMC with a LIVE two-hour premiere on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 9/8c from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas. Also streaming on AMC+.
We also know AJ Styles will appear, now there’s a new rumor saying former WWE and AEW World Champion Chris Jericho is very interested in working with TNA. It comes from Andrew Baydala via Pro Wrestling World, and I totally believe it!
I even left a reply on that post explaining why, nowhere near as well thought out/researched, so here we go:
Reports indicate that Chris Jericho and his associate Don Callis knew Leonard Asper, the primary owner of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, and leveraged that relationship in 2018 to help prevent Anthem from potentially shutting down the promotion and to bring in Scott D'Amore to manage it.
Why didn’t Chris work for TNA at that point? Because AEW had just been created and gave him a ton of money.
More recently, Y2J praised TNA’s Bound for Glory, saying it looked like the "second biggest wrestling company in the world," which only adds fuel to the idea that he’d be open to collaborating with them.
TNA’s fresh TV home in the U.S., AMC dropped a new promo today, “Get to know the stars of the TNA roster…beyond the ring.”
It’s nothing earth-shattering, but a neat little touch from the new network that shows off some personalities.
We also have our latest Discuss TNA IMPACT Podcast up above — it’s available on most major platforms.
