CM Punk Has WWE Scrambling Before WrestleMania
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk dropped another pipe bomb on Raw, and WWE is straight-up panicking less than a week before WrestleMania.
In his latest promo, Punk went off unfiltered — straight-up calling on TKO (WWE’s parent company) to lower ticket prices and even name-dropping his agent Ari Emanuel.
WWE tried the old clip job on social media, cutting out the juicy parts to make it look cleaner. Big mistake. The full context hit the community notes immediately, and now the whole thing has blown up.
ESPN is already circling the story because of the ongoing broadcaster beef (Punk torched Pat McAfee live on the mic too), and reports are floating that real ticket price cuts could be coming this summer.
Panic mode or a calculated pivot?
Either way, the full unedited promo spread like wildfire, fans are loving the chaos, and WWE looks rattled heading into the biggest show of the year.
Classic Punk — turning social media and “reality” into the ultimate heat machine right before Mania.
Whether it’s a work or not, it’s….working.
