What a night on SmackDown. Drew McIntyre was so close to ending Cody’s chances at WrestleMania, but Jacob Fatu changed everything. The match was heating up, Drew grabbed a chair, the ref went down — then Fatu stormed in, and snatched it away.
Chaos ensued, another ref went down, Cody finally capitalized with the Crossroads, and got the pin. AND NEW!
Rhodes is once again your Undisputed WWE Champion, walking into WrestleMania with the gold to face Randy Orton…
So yeah… face vs. face at WrestleMania?
Not the classic heel heat we usually get, but these two are true legends who’ll bring absolutely everything they’ve got to the grandest stage of them all. I’m interested, though it’s nowhere near the same intensity as Punk vs. Roman for me.
