Daniel Bryan Returning to WWE Soon?!

Wrestling fans are buzzing after WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) dropped a big hint on X about a potential Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) return to WWE.

In a post following Brie Bella’s surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, Bully Ray wrote: “Brie is back… Danielson wont be far behind. #RoyalRumble”

This comes amid ongoing speculation about Danielson’s future, especially after his full-time in-ring retirement from AEW in late 2024 due to neck issues.

While he’s remained with AEW in non-wrestling capacities at times, a WWE homecoming would be a massive storyline shift.

Adding context, back in July 2025, Brie Bella addressed her own WWE status on The Nikki & Brie Show.

She explained why a return hadn’t happened for her:

“I know my roadblock is the fact that my husband is with the rival company. For some people, it makes them uncomfortable at WWE, thinking I would be there when my husband is with AEW. […]

People feel uncomfortable, they’re uncomfortable. That’s okay. They have that right. Does it bum me out at times that I wish feelings were different? Absolutely, but it doesn’t make me angry or bitter.”

Brie’s comments highlighted the perceived tension between the companies at the time, making Bully Ray’s recent take even more intriguing now that she’s made a WWE appearance.

Is this just wishful thinking from a wrestling legend, or could we see the “Yes!” chants return to WWE programming?

Only time will tell—but the chatter is real.
