First Matches set for Cena’s Last Time is Now Tournament
Last night on WWE Raw, the legendary 17-time WWE World Champion John Cena had a vignette officially announcing his highly anticipated “Last Time Is Now Tournament”. There will be a 16-man bracket designed to determine who will be his final opponent.
During the announcement, we learned about the first two matches that will kick off the competition, with two additional matches to be revealed on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
In the opening round matches, Damian Priest is set to face off against Rusev, while Sheamus will go head-to-head with Shinsuke Nakamura.
These are some of the biggest names in the business, making this tournament feel like a true All-Star showdown. The level of talent on display promises an exciting start to the competition.
It all starts on Monday, November 10th, during Raw. It features wrestlers from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and some guests from outside WWE. The winner will get the chance to face John Cena in his likely final match on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
