Another El Grande Americano Coming?!

The original and true El Grande Americano, Chad Gable, has been out of action for most of the year after suffering a nagging shoulder injury that ultimately forced him to undergo surgery and miss significant ring time.

Our pals at Fightful are now offering a hopeful update, reporting that Chad Gable appears to be on the mend and is edging closer to a WWE return in the coming weeks, showing encouraging signs in his recovery.

Additionally, our buddies from PWInsider are reporting that some within WWE expect Gable to be back as soon as next week’s first WWE Raw of 2026 in Brooklyn, New York — the episode coinciding with the Stranger Things tie-in.

If that’s true, this is absolutely awesome news! How many Americanos can we snag? My buddy R-Double wants a female Grande, and I couldn’t agree more with that choice!
