Izzi Dame Stakes Her Claim: Big Boot to Lola Vice & That Fiery Instagram Post – NXT Recap & Thoughts
Last night on WWE NXT (April 21, 2026 – Revenge Week), the NXT Women’s Division got a serious jolt when Izzi Dame crashed Lola Vice’s victory lap.
Lola, the reigning NXT Women’s Champion, hit the ring for a confident promo celebrating her recent title retention and declaring herself the undisputed top woman on the brand. Enter Izzi Dame, flanked by her faction mates from The Culling.
Izzi didn’t come to chat – she delivered a sharp promo positioning herself as the future of NXT, then dropped Lola with a massive big boot that left the champ laid out. To top it off, Izzi grabbed the NXT Women’s Title belt, posed with it proudly, and made her intentions crystal clear: she’s coming for that gold.
Fast-forward to this morning, and Izzi dropped a killer Instagram post that perfectly captures the moment:
“Don’t worry, NXT will be in good hands again veryy soon #andnew #nxtwomenschampion #wwe #nxt #itizwhatitiz”
The pics? Straight fire.
Izzi looking every bit the star in sleek, edgy gear – confident stare, killer outfit, that aura of inevitability. Fans in the comments are eating it up, calling her out for “cooking” Lola and hyping her as the next champ.
It’s classic heel arrogance done right, and it’s building serious heat for a future title match (Battleground odds are already buzzing among fans).
She’s Got “It” – But The Faction?
Let’s be real: Izzi Dame has star written all over her. The look, the presence, the mic work, the in-ring power (that big boot is money), and the natural charisma – she’s got the full package.
She feels like a future main roster standout and multi-time champion. Whether it’s NXT or beyond, she’s built for the spotlight.
That said… her faction, The Culling (with Shawn Spears leading and Niko Vance/Brooks Jensen in tow), feels like it’s holding her back more than helping.
Two guys hanging out with a much younger woman, just kicking back and doing… not a whole lot, really.
It dilutes her spotlight. Izzi comes off as this dominant, independent force who doesn’t need backup to make statements like last night’s beatdown.
The guys often just stand there looking menacing without adding much value to her character or matches.
If anything, it takes away from her solo star power. A solo Izzi run (or at least a leaner presentation) could let her shine even brighter. She doesn’t need the extra bodies to feel threatening – her work already does that.
What’s Next?
No official title match announcement yet, but this is textbook wrestling buildup. Expect Lola to respond on next week’s NXT, and a clash at an upcoming PLE feels inevitable.
Izzi’s momentum is real right now.
What do you think – is Izzi the one to dethrone Lola? Should she ditch the faction baggage? Drop your takes below.
