Central Florida's Latest Creature Feature Finds Its Host in Jessica McKay

Independent horror is getting a pitch-perfect late-night throwback. Cosmic Wave Films has officially announced Twisted Tales from Channel 6, a feature-length anthology film bringing together seven award-winning horror shorts from Central Florida creators.

At the center of the mayhem is Clarissa Hex—played by Jessica McKay—serving as the resident host of this dark showcase, joined by a skeleton sidekick named Baron von Scarehm and a demanding producer named Adam.

Produced by Angela Hamilton and Nick Marinucci in association with a powerhouse indie lineup including Jennifer Coe, Fernando Tosetti, and Derek Ziegler, the project is currently deep in post-production.

With that killer retro horror host aesthetic, this is exactly the kind of cross-genre indie project that keeps the pulse of the scene alive. Shout-outs to my TNA podcast co-host, “The Horror King”, and “Macho Man” Randy, TBLOPW owner, who will love this news!
