The John Cena Classic to Exclusively Stream on WWE Club?

Remember back at Backlash when John Cena walked out and grandly announced the John Cena Classic—a tournament pitching main roster stars against NXT, complete with a brand-new title and a fan vote to crown the winner?

And then... total radio silence.

Months later, we're staring down a rumored December window, and WWE still hasn't told us how a wrestling tournament where wins and losses supposedly don't matter is actually going to function, let alone where we can watch it.

Which brings us to the inevitable, corporate-synergy elephant in the room: Is this entire unhinged concept quietly being engineered to drive sign-ups for WWE Club?

It sounds completely ridiculous—making a wrestling special where results are irrelevant and locking it behind an extra paywall—which, honestly, is precisely why it feels entirely possible.

Is it any more ridiculous than tossing that awful, PW-shattering concept onto Netflix or ESPN for everyone to see?!

What do you think? Are they actually bold (or foolish) enough to slide this thing behind a separate subscription wall, or is WWE just hoping we all forget about the whole thing?
