Macey Estrella (fka Lacey Evans) Hints at In-Ring Return
Former WWE Superstar Lacey Evans, now going by her real name Macey Estrella, has dropped a fresh tease that she could be stepping back between the ropes nearly three years after leaving WWE in August 2023.
In her latest Instagram post, Macey shared a photo with a caption revealing a conversation with her daughter Sunny that flipped the script:
“Sunny: ‘Mom you were a wrestler’
Me: ‘yep’
Sunny: ‘I wanna see you fight’
Say no more..... #SheTalkedMeIntoIt”
This comes after Macey had been vocal about WWE never being her true passion and that she didn’t miss the business at all post-departure.
Her last match was a dark match on SmackDown in July 2023. No word yet on where this potential return would happen — WWE? Indies? Something else? — but the door is clearly cracking open on her own terms, motivated by family.
Fans are already buzzing.
After a strong run with the “Lady of WWE” character, military background, and solid in-ring work, a comeback could be a big story if it materializes.
