Did Moose Just Confirm He Is Leaving TNA Wrestling?

The professional wrestling internet is currently doing what it does best: panicking over a tweet.

Former TNA World Champion Moose recently took to social media to drop a message that immediately sent shockwaves through the fan base:

"Thank you @ThisIsTNA for the awesome TEN years. Been a Helluva Ride"

Naturally, the replies and quote tweets filled up with fans asking if this was a sudden goodbye message. Given how many high-profile departures TNA has seen recently, it's easy to see why fans jumped to conclusions.

But is Moose actually leaving the Impact Zone?

The Verdict: Nah.

Relax, TNA fans. Moose isn’t going anywhere.

While the "thank you" phrasing reads like a classic wrestling departure speech, Moose is actually celebrating a massive milestone. He made his official company debut a decade ago on July 12, 2016, at Destination X.

This tweet is simply a celebration of ten years of dominance. Furthermore, Moose's contract status is about as secure as it gets in professional wrestling.

  • Locked In: Moose signed a massive multi-year extension in June 2023.

  • Contract Length: The deal is a 5-year contract that runs all the way through June 2028.

  • Retirement Plans: Moose has openly stated on several occasions that this contract will likely be his last, planning to retire when the deal is up to enjoy his post-wrestling life.

If you've been watching Impact, you already know TNA has been actively highlighting his decade-long tenure on screen, particularly in his recent verbal sparring matches with Frankie Kazarian over who truly represents the franchise.

So no, Moose didn't just stealth-resign or quietly say goodbye. He's just taking a well-earned victory lap for a decade of anchoring the promotion. The System remains fully operational.
