New WWE ID Women’s Championship #1 Contender Crowned - Highlights
Notorious Mimi has earned her shot at the WWE ID Women’s Title. In a solid 7:37 match on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Beyond Wrestling ID Showcase in Worcester, Massachusetts, Mimi defeated Airica Demia to become the new #1 contender.
She’ll now face WWE ID Women’s Champion Laynie Luck in the main event later that same night. Mimi looked strong and picked up a well-deserved big win.
That being said… I’m a Demia mark, so this one hurt a little. Airica is such a creative character and an excellent wrestler — she brings something unique every time she’s out there. I’m sure she’ll bounce back just fine.
Looking forward to seeing how Mimi does against Laynie Luck. The ID women’s division continues to deliver.
