Nick LoPiccolo vs. Tony Khan Burner Saga: Years of Shade with Zero Proof

Nick LoPiccolo Tony Khan

Ever since AEW launched, there’s been one constant in the online wrestling noise: Nick LoPiccolo popping up to take shots at Tony Khan and the company. We’re talking years of tweets, subtweets, and full-on threads criticizing booking, business moves, bots (ironically), awards, catering drama—you name it.

If there’s a negative spin on Jacksonville, Nick’s been there with the take.

But the latest escalation? After getting let go from Paradigm Talent Agency (where he repped big WWE names like CM Punk (Hmm?), Jade Cargill, Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan, etc.—talk about a roster), Nasty Nick went Nuclear:

Claiming a random pro-AEW account (“Ron” with a string of numbers) is Tony Khan’s secret burner.

Why? It supposedly has “inside knowledge,” follows the “right” people (like certain AEW-friendly journalists), shares the same hot takes (anti-trans stuff, anti-Jade, etc.), and—classic burner move—mass-deleted tweets, unfollowed everyone, and locked down right after Nick called it out and even tagged the NFL commish.

The kicker that makes this whole thing look extra childish and sad?

Nick’s long history with CM Punk.

Punk’s exit from AEW was messy (we all remember the drama), and here’s his former agent out here waging what feels like a personal vendetta years later. It’s like the scorned ex still tweeting about the breakup in 2026. 🤣

High-school level beef from someone who should be above it, especially with that Hollywood/WWE ties.

Real Talk

•  Tony Khan’s got a verified main account (@TonyKhan) where he posts daily—often controversially—about AEW, the Jaguars, football, everything. Running a burner to defend himself? Risky, pointless, and doesn’t fit the guy who’s openly firing off rants anyway.

•  This isn’t a one-off. Nick’s accused TK of paying bot armies to harass him, spreading fake arrest rumors, retaliation over old tweets… for months/years. It’s the same cycle: “Tony’s mad at me → bots/burners attack.”

•  No hard proof here—just vibes, deleted tweets (which could be anyone panicking after a call-out), and circumstantial follows. If it were real, you’d expect leaks, IP traces, or more smoke by now.

Mainstream outlets are reporting it as “accusations” or “called out,” not confirmed fact.

I’ve been dead wrong on wrestling takes before (plenty of fantasy booking Ls in my history), but this one screams projection and grudge-holding more than actual conspiracy.

Tony’s too busy booking Dynamite, running a company, and tweeting about the Jags to play 4D chess with burners.

Wrestling Twitter thrives on drama, but this chapter feels low-rent and exhausting.

Legit critique is one thing—endless personal accusations from one side? Nah.

That’s for Sociopath Sean Ross Sapp and me! LMAO

What do you think? Burner bust or just the longest online feud nobody asked for?
