Top 5 NJPW Wrestlers Who Should Be the Final Boss of New Japan Pro Wrestling

The Rock was the ultimate Final Boss last year — showing up, running things, and shaking up the entire landscape. New Japan needs that same larger-than-life authority figure in 2026 to stir up chaos and elevate the company.

Below are my top 5 NJPW wrestlers who could perfectly step into that “Final Boss” role. You can find all of my Top 5’s at the link and latest podcast below. #AutismAwareness

Top 5 NJPW Wrestlers Who Should Be the Final Boss of New Japan Pro Wrestling

  • Satoshi Kojima could be the Final Boss of New Japan Pro Wrestling. The legend has been in the game forever, still delivering strong performances, and has massive respect across the roster. Imagine Kojima as the untouchable veteran who pulls the strings behind the scenes — everyone would have to go through the “Cozy” one to get to the top.

  • Yuji Nagata could be the Final Boss of New Japan Pro Wrestling to revive the Bullet Club. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is a true icon and still has that intimidating presence. If Nagata decides to take control and bring back the Bullet Club under his vision, it would feel like a legitimate power shift and instantly make the faction dangerous again.

  • Taka Michinoku has been a Japanese legend for years, and he can absolutely be NJPW’s Final Boss. With his experience, cunning personality, and history of creating chaos, Taka could run the company from the shadows or step out as the ultimate authority figure. His mind games and veteran savvy would make him a perfect heel boss that everyone loves to hate.

  • Bad Luck Fale could be the Final Boss who turns on House of Torture to bring back the real Bullet Club — this time with his own chosen members. The big man has the size, the presence, and the history to be a dominant authority figure. Turning his back on the current group and rebuilding Bullet Club his way would create massive drama and fresh storylines across NJPW.

  • El Phantasmo could be the Final Boss of NJPW and create his own faction from scratch. ELP is charismatic, sneaky, and always entertaining. If he rises to power and starts hand-picking his own crew, it would give New Japan a cocky, flashy villain at the top — exactly the kind of Final Boss energy that keeps fans hooked week after week.
