NXT Great American Bash 2026: Updated Lineup and Match Analysis
The road to the summer’s biggest night for the white-and-gold brand is officially locked in. Broadcasting live from the WWE Performance Center on Sunday, June 28, NXT Great American Bash marks a massive milestone as the brand’s first Premium Live Event to air on The CW Network.
With major title matches set and bitter rivalries reaching a boiling point, the card is stacked from top to bottom. Here is the complete updated lineup and our analytical breakdown for each match ahead of the big night.
NXT Championship Match
Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Naraku
Since capturing the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver, Tony D’Angelo has run the brand like a true Don. But he faces his most terrifying threat yet in Naraku.
Ever since Naraku sent that ominous white box with the Kanji symbol for war back in April, this feud has been a ticking time bomb. D'Angelo demanded the challenge, and Naraku is coming to take the crown.
Analysis: D'Angelo has the champion's advantage, the veteran savvy, and the grit to survive deep waters. However, Naraku's absolute destruction of the roster since his debut makes him look nearly unstoppable. D'Angelo will have to play chess to keep his title, because matching Naraku's raw physical power head-on is a losing battle.
NXT Women’s Championship Match
Lola Vice (c) vs. Kendal Grey
The women's division has been pure chaos, and Kendal Grey earned her way to the top of the mountain by defeating Kelani Jordan in a spectacular No. 1 Contender’s match.
Standing in her way is Lola Vice, who has made it clear she doesn’t think Grey is on her level. Tensions exploded on the latest NXT into a massive tag team main event, proving there is zero love lost here.
Analysis: There is a distinct feeling that the stars are aligning for Kendal Grey here. She has been on a meteoric rise, adapting to the WWE style incredibly fast, and it truly feels like her time to capture the white-and-gold gold.
That said, Lola Vice is an absolute killer with a championship pedigree. Even if Lola drops the title, she still has her status as a powerhouse attraction—and plenty of outside leverage—meaning she can absorb a loss here without losing an ounce of her aura.
NXT North American Championship Match
Myles Borne (c) vs. Tavion Heights
We officially have a challenger! After fighting off interference from the Vanity Project on NXT, Tavion Heights pinned Jackson Drake in a grueling No. 1 Contender’s match to punch his ticket to the Great American Bash.
Now, he gets his singles shot against the powerhouse champion, Myles Borne.
Analysis: This is going to be a highly physical, purely athletic showcase. Borne has been a dominant force at the top of the midcard, but Heights has proven he can overcome the numbers game when everything is on the line.
Expect a hard-hitting affair where the winner will simply be whoever survives the canvas grind.
Grudge Match
Saquon Shugars vs. Dion Lennox
Away from the title picture, this deeply personal rivalry has been simmering for weeks on Tuesday nights.
DarkState booted Saquon Shugars from the group after he took the pin in their failed NXT Tag Team Title bid, and Shugars wasted no time returning to extract some serious revenge on Dion Lennox.
Analysis: A classic, heated grudge match that has all the ingredients to blow the roof off the Performance Center and steal the undercard.
Both men are incredibly hungry for a breakout performance on a major broadcast, and the intensity here should match the high stakes.
