The road to SummerSlam heats up this Tuesday June 2, 2026 as WWE NXT delivers a loaded episode on The CW, headlined by two championship matches.

WWE NXT June 2, 2026 Lineup

• NXT Championship: Tony D'Angelo (c) vs. Kam Hendrix

  Tony D has been a strong champion with the Family backing, but Kam Hendrix is a confident newcomer who called his shot immediately.

  Naraku’s recent cryptic involvement (saying he’ll protect Tony because it’s their “destiny to war”) adds intrigue — expect possible interference or mind games.

• Men’s Speed Championship: Lexis King (c) vs. Romeo Moreno
  Speed rules (fast-paced, time emphasis) should suit both, but Lexis King’s recent associations (Vanity Project ties) could play a factor.

  Romeo gets a big opportunity here.

• Tag Team: Tate Wilder vs. Jackson Drake (w/ Myka Lockwood, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)

  This stems from backstage heat with The Vanity Project (Drake’s arrogant crew). Tate Wilder, a football-background newcomer, is looking to prove himself against this cocky group. Expect interference from the entourage.

• Tag Team: Myles Borne & Tavion Heights vs. DarkState

  DarkState (a villainous, aggressive stable, former tag champs) recently attacked Borne & Heights, making this personal. These are athletic, hard-hitting guys on both sides — should be a physical tag match.

• Lizzy Rain vs. ZARIA

  Straight singles matchup. ZARIA is a powerhouse; Lizzy Rain has been on a quick rise. Good chance for a competitive women’s showcase.
