NXT Preview: Women’s North American Title, Triple Threat and More

Promotional graphic for a WWE NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender triple threat match featuring Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Kali Armstrong.

The road to the next major PLE continues to heat up this Tuesday as NXT returns to the Performance Center with a stacked card featuring championship bouts and high-stakes contender matches.

As always, we have the official lineup, my predictions and our latest podcast episode. #AutismAwareness

NXT June 16, 2026 Lineup

  • NXT Women’s North American Championship: Zaria (c) vs. Layla Diggs

After a career-defining performance in last week’s Fatal 4-Way, Layla Diggs has officially arrived. Diggs managed to outmaneuver Thea Hail, Izzi Dame, and Lizzy Rain to earn this title shot.

Now, she faces her biggest test yet in the form of the dominant Zaria. Can Diggs’ momentum carry her to an upset, or will Zaria continue her path of destruction?

  • NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender: Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Kali Armstrong

The women’s division is in turmoil, and this triple threat is guaranteed to be chaotic. Kali Armstrong sent a clear message last week by laying out both Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan in a brutal display.

With a shot at Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship on the line, expect fireworks as these three rivals collide in what is shaping up to be the highlight of the night.

  • NXT Tag Team Championship: The Vanity Project (c) vs. Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux

The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) put their gold on the line against the resilient team of Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. Legacy and Van Dux earned this opportunity by conquering a wild Fatal 4-Way tag team match last week.

With Jackson Drake and Myka Lockwood lurking at ringside, the challengers will have to be at their absolute best to walk out as champions.

  • Naraku vs. Tate Wilder

In a battle of momentum and pure aggression, Naraku squares off against Tate Wilder. Naraku has been making his presence felt lately with chilling promises of destruction for the NXT roster, while Wilder looks to continue his resurgence.

This one should be a hard-hitting affair that could shake up the hierarchy of the mid-card.
