NXT’s Josh Briggs Working Overtime on Special Guest Ref Gig

Tuesday night is another stacked edition of WWE NXT, and a referee of all people, just turned it up 1000000x notches! Jasper Troy and Keanu Carver are throwing hands (and probably a few chairs) at each other, and who stepped in as the special guest referee?

None other than the Man of Mayhem himself, Josh Briggs.

Yes, the same Josh Briggs who apparently looked at the standard referee rulebook and said, "Cute. Hold my beer."

Word on the street (and that Instagram reel) is that Briggs isn't content with just counting to three like some boring mortal.

Oh no. This dude is out here practicing his craft like it's a video game.

While the match is popping off, expect the big man to hit the ropes, launch into a picture-perfect moonsault, and then... count a pin. Changing the game forever!

The on-screen notification says it all: "New Referee Pin Unlocked."

Legendary. 10/10. No notes.

Will Briggs actually stay neutral, or will he accidentally (or "accidentally") moonsault one of the competitors into next week? Place your bets now.

Either way, Tuesday's match just went from "must-watch" to "might break the internet."

Briggs isn't afraid to be the special guest ref... and the rest of us aren't afraid to laugh our asses off when he pulls off wrestling's first-ever aerial referee finish.

Best of luck Josh!
