Oba Femi Squashing The War Raiders Was Unnecessary and Shortsighted

I’m currently watching the latest WWE Raw on Netflix and I have to vent: Oba Femi destroying The War Raiders in a one-sided beatdown was bad booking, plain and simple!

Oba is clearly the next big dominant force—fresh off a strong Royal Rumble showing, built as "The Ruler" with insane power and presence. He didn't need to annihilate both Erik and Ivar to prove he's a monster.

He could've beaten plenty of singles guys and looked unstoppable. Instead, WWE chose to have one man squash a former tag team championship duo, and it came off as excessive.

The War Raiders Deserve Better

They've been through character changes, injuries, and inconsistent pushes, but they still carry that aura of Viking warriors who can wreck anyone.

Having them get steamrolled like that strips away whatever credibility they had left in the tag division. It's not building Oba up in a smart way—it's just tearing down established talent for shock value.

WWE has a history of hot-shotting new stars by feeding them veterans, but this felt lazy.

Oba is talented enough to win clean against top singles competition without needing a 2-on-1 advantage in his favor. Hopefully this is just a one-off and War Raiders get a chance to rebound, but right now, it feels like a step backward for everyone.

What do you think—smart push or total burial?
