Oba Wins NXT Title and Will Face Cody: Updated SNME Card

The next Saturday Night’s Main Event will feature John Cena’s final match, a bittersweet send-off for one of WWE’s biggest stars. WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes will also defend his title against rising star Oba Femi, setting up a high-stakes clash between an established icon and new talent.

“The Ruler” just defeated Ricky Saints to become a two-time NXT Champion at Deadline, a victory that took place during the special event currently airing on Peacock.

I’m very happy with the title change, especially as a big fan of Oba. I don’t share the Ricky Starks hype — he’s a solid wrestler with a decent character, but I’m not sure what everyone else is seeing. Still, the right man won tonight and it was a satisfying finish.

Updated SNME 12/13/25 Card

  • Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi

  • Bayley vs. Sol Ruca

  • Cena’s Final Match: John Cena vs. Gunther

Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) will air live on NBC and Peacock on December 13, 2025, from Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., with big matches, surprise guests, and standout moments.
