Omega/Page/Swerve Moment Was Gold: AEW Main Event Structured AF

Omega/Page/Swerve Moment Was Gold: AEW Main Event Structured AF

I’ve been critical of plenty of things in wrestling, but credit where it’s due: last night’s AEW show gave me something I haven’t felt from them in a while – actual structure at the top of the card.

When Kenny Omega made his way down to stand with three of the biggest stars in the company (Hangman Page and Sweve Strickland), it wasn’t just a cool visual. It felt like a statement.

For the first time in ages, AEW’s main-event scene looked like it had a clear hierarchy and direction. Not a random collection of big names throwing stuff at the wall, but a sense that these guys are positioned as the top tier for a reason.

Omega’s presence added that extra layer of legitimacy and history. Seeing him alongside those current heavy hitters reminded me why people got so excited about AEW in the first place: elite talent in meaningful spots, not just chaos for chaos’ sake.

I’m genuinely happy to see this shift. When the top feels organized and purposeful, the whole show benefits. Great job, AEW – keep building on this.
