Randy Orton Shows What Leadership Looks Like
A lot of terms are thrown around in pro wrestling, like “greatest of all time,” “role model,” “backstage leader,” and many others. But how often do we actually get to see these qualities in action? Not very often, sadly.
It’s a special day, though, thanks to Jake Reigns Hive on X! He shared a great clip of WWE’s Randy Orton displaying what it truly means to be the perfect leader, role model, and more.
The match took place during an NXT show last month, featuring the 14-time World Champion going head-to-head with the 21-year-old rising phenom, Je’Von Evans. Unfortunately, the young talent botched his finishing move, which resulted in an awkward and less-than-smooth ending to the bout.
Je’Von immediately apologized to the seasoned living legend right after the match concluded. Randy responded graciously, saying, “It’s OK, you’re the f-ng man,” showing respect and encouragement toward the promising newcomer.
Awesome to see this happen; I was already a big fan of Orton, and now I get to respect him even more.
