Seth Rollins Was 100% Right to Walk Off: Screw You Kyle
Look, we all knew Seth "Freakin" Rollins showing up on Good Morning Football was going to be must-see TV. The guy’s charisma is off the charts, and he’s been a solid presence on the show before.
But what went down this morning in Pittsburgh? Straight-up disrespectful.
Pat McAfee cosplayer Kyle Brandt decided it was time to play the tired “wrestling isn’t real” card. You know the one – the same lame take dudes who’ve never taken a bump or cut a promo in their life love to trot out.
Brandt was out here comparing WWE’s Seth to NFL’s Aaron Rodgers and straight-up questioning the legitimacy of what these athletes do in front of 70,000+ screaming fans at WrestleMania.
Newsflash, Kyle: these guys are out there doing high-flying, hardcore, story-driven athletic theater that most NFL players couldn’t touch on their best day. It’s predetermined in structure, sure – but the physical toll, the timing, the live performance under pressure?
That’s as real as it gets.
Then Brandt went low. Real low.
He made some crack about Becky Lynch basically running the Rollins household and how she could “win something” or step in for Seth. Bro… you’re gonna sit there on live TV and take a cheap shot at a man’s wife?
The Man herself? One of the greatest to ever do it in WWE?
That’s not banter. That’s being a dick.
Seth handled it better than most would. He stood up, ripped the mic off, tossed the Terrible Towel at Brandt, and told him he could finish the segment solo. Classic Visionary energy.
No fake smile, no corporate PR nonsense – just a man with his limit who wasn’t about to sit there and take disrespect toward his craft or his family.
To Mr. Brandt: Screw You Kyle!
Questioning wrestling is one thing (annoying, but whatever). Bringing someone’s wife into it for a cheap pop? Weak. Real weak.
Seth didn’t storm off because he’s soft – he walked because he’s got self-respect, and more importantly, respect for what he and Becky have built.
Wrestling fans are eating this up for the right reasons. Seth stood on business. If GMFB wants real crossover stars, maybe treat them with some actual respect next time.
