Sexy Dulce (Star) Botches Hard at Arena Sulaimán — And Fans Are Eating It Up

Lucha libre fans never get tired of a good botch, and this one delivered.

A recent Instagram Reel from Arena José Sulaimán shows Sexy Dulce (formerly known as Sexy Star) taking a hard, awkward fall during a live event.

The official arena account posted it with the caption “Se nos cayó @sexydulceg” and invited fans to comment if they wanted to “catch her.”

The comments section is full of the usual mix of laughter, concern, and classic lucha roasting.

THAT “Sexy Star?”

The good news: by all accounts, she’s fine. No reports of serious injury have surfaced, and the tone of the post and reactions treat it as a pure, unscripted moment rather than a medical scare.

What makes the clip hit a little harder is the identity of the woman on the floor. This is the same Sexy Dulce who, back in 2017 at Lucha Libre AAA TripleManía XXV, crossed the line from worked match into real fight when she locked in a legitimate armbar on TNA’s Rosemary.

Karma Can Be a Bitch

The hold went far beyond what was planned, left Rosemary injured, and effectively ended Sexy Star’s run with AAA. It remains one of the more infamous “this isn’t a work” moments in modern lucha libre.

Years later, here she is still in the ring, still drawing reactions — this time for a spectacular (and apparently harmless) face-plant instead of a stiff submission.

Some things never change: fans will always love a botch, and Sexy Dulce still knows how to make people talk.
