Sloane Jacobs in Hot WWE ID Water After “The Incident”?
Last night (October 12) at Wrestling Open Rhode Island, Sloane Jacobs teamed with Kylie Alexa and Paris Van Dale in a losing six-woman tag match effort against Allie Katch, Shannon LeVangie, and Liviyah.
After the match, Jacobs hopped on commentary. She blamed her partner Paris Van Dale for the loss, bragged about appearing weekly on Evolve (on Tubi), then threw the headset down and walked off when the regular announcer cut in.
Today, the official WWE ID account posted a public apology to Wrestling Open RI, saying they value the promotion as an important place for independent wrestlers to develop.
“The Incident”
That’s the entire story: no injury, no fight, no bigger scandal — just a shrug-worthy sequence of events. This is professional wrestling, though, and even small, uneventful moments must get blown up.
Which is why we’re calling it “The Incident.”
Now, I’m gonna go back to trying to figure out what the hell WWE ID actually is. Feel free to let me know in the comment section!
