As the official go-home show for Saturday Night's Main Event, Friday’s episode of SmackDown is set to solidify the final preparations and heighten the stakes for one of the most anticipated events on the calendar.

If the brand's primary story is built on "a ton to address," but the execution is just another night of administrative shuffling, the show is going to feel like it’s running in place. We’ve seen this movie before—and it’s getting stale.
