Team TNA is a Disgrace to Knockouts History

TNA knockouts

Tonight is the ShowDown between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. Surprisingly, there’s no buzz about it. It was meant to be a special event, maybe even a pay-per-view, but WWE/TKO changed plans. Now, it’s just an NXT show on USA Network.

My cohost Gary, a big TNA fan, didn’t even know it was happening tonight. This is sad but understandable since there’s little buzz and not many TNA fans watch NXT.

Here's the point: Have you seen the Team TNA knockouts? They always had great knockouts that made them special, and now this?!?!

Here is the Team:

  • Knockouts Team TNA’s leader is the KO’s Champion, Kelani Jordan, who works for WWE NXT.

  • The current Knockouts Tag Champs, The Iinspiration, will likely return to WWE next year or even earlier.

  • The final number of the team is Mara Sade, formerly known as Jakara Jackson. And when I say formally, I mean a few months ago!

All of those ladies have worked for WWE. Where are the actual knockouts that deserve to be there?

Tessa Blanchard, Rosemary, Killer Kelly, Xia Brookside, who had an amazing year IMO, Lei Ying Lee, Jody Threat, Alisha Edwards, and another former KO’s World Champion in Tasha Steelz!

This team was clearly picked by TKO, not TNA president Carlos Silva, who likely will still take credit, because that’s his ONLY thing. Anyone can sell TNA tickets using WWE NXT stars since WWE NXT runs their own house shows.

No one outside WWE is doing that anymore, which shows the future. If TNA is part of that future, it will very likely be a fake WWE TNA version, like ECW was.

The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky and Angelina Love), plus Mickie James will join the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory. How would those be for Team TNA picks! Adding Tessa or the underrated Tasha, maybe even Gail Kim??!

They could have made a dream team, that showed respect to the incredible history of the TNA Knockouts.

I’m hoping this Team TNA is a joke, and people like that show up. Can I get an ODB at least?!
