It’s Time Harley Cameron Wins a World Title
AEW star Harley Cameron is an enormous fan favorite, to say the least. It’s fair to say she’s arguably the most LIKED female on the entire roster when it comes to fan support and admiration. She’s either the top or very close, alongside other popular stars like Willow Nightingale and the reigning World Champion Kris Statlander.
Beyond being incredibly gorgeous, Harley possesses that special quality known as “IT”, or the elusive “It Factor” that captivates audiences and sets her apart.
At the moment, there aren't many Ring of Honor announcements that truly capture my interest. However, this is exactly how we arrived at the current situation. Harley is set to face the ROH Women’s Champion, Athena, on November 20th.
This matchup was made official after Harley managed to pin Athena, who has been a historically long-reigning champion, during the Women’s Tag Title tournament earlier this week on Dynamite.
As of today, Athena has impressively held the ROH Women’s World Championship for a remarkable total of 1,060 days. This lengthy reign highlights her dominance and consistency at the top of the division.
She has nothing left to achieve in Ring of Honor, which is likely why she's already on the main shows, Dynamite and Collision. Athena should be the one who stops Mercedes Mone and her 18 titles or however many it’s up to.
Now is the perfect time for her to help boost someone, and there’s no better choice than Harley Cameron.
