TNA Hypes Return of….Steel Cages?
TNA Wrestling today announced that they are bringing back one of the “most brutal and intense” match types in pro wrestling history to Texas: the steel cage match! It goes down this Saturday in at the El Paso County Coliseum.
Wait, what? A steel cage?! Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely a fan of cage matches and the unique challenges they bring, but calling them the “most brutal and intense match types” seems a bit of an overstatement, don’t you think?
Is the cage just part of the setup? Maybe they’ll include death matches inside it. I’m not saying they’ll go that far, especially on a new, widely watched network like AMX. But it could happen?
