TNA Wrestling continues to double down on what makes the brand unique as the company heads north for its upcoming Canadian tour.
In a major announcement for fans in Alberta, TNA is bringing back one of its signature, high-stakes match concepts for the first time since 2022: the Triple Threat Revolver.
Reclaiming Their Core Identity
There was a time when TNA lost its way a bit, straying from the fast-paced, action-first philosophy that put the promotion on the map in the first place. But coming ahead of Destination X, the company is actively rediscovering its identity.
By leaning heavily into the X-Division style—unpredictable, high-flying, and relentlessly paced—TNA is recapturing the exact energy that originally built its loyal fanbase.
Bringing back signature match concepts isn't just nostalgia; it's a statement that the core foundation of the company is back and stronger than ever.
High Stakes at the WinSport Event Centre
As part of this momentum, TNA confirmed that the Triple Threat Revolver will officially return when TNA iMPACT! invades the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary on Wednesday, November 18.
Even bigger than the match format's comeback is what hangs in the balance: the winner will walk away with a guaranteed TNA World Championship match.
How the Triple Threat Revolver Works
For fans who haven't seen the chaos of the Revolver format in action, the match operates as a revolving gauntlet series of triple-threat action. Three competitors begin in the ring under standard match rules. The moment a wrestler is eliminated via pinfall or submission, a new entrant immediately steps in to take their place, keeping the pace relentless.
The action cycles through the entrants until the field narrows down to the final three competitors. Once that final trio is set, the first wrestler to score a decisive fall takes home the victory and locks in a future shot at the TNA World Title.
Between signature gimmicks, high-flying showcases, and direct title implications, TNA is proving it knows exactly who it is again. Tickets for the November 18 show at the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary are available now on Ticketmaster.
