Friday night’s TNA No Surrender special (live on TNA+) has “must-watch” stamped all over it, but the main event tag match might just deliver one of the wildest finishes in pro wrestling history.
Mike Santana (TNA World Champion) & X Division Champion Leon Slater vs. Nic Nemeth & Eddie Edwards sounds stacked already — but peel back the layers and you realize three different guys in this match all hold keys that could unlock the World Title at any second:
Nic Nemeth still carries the Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy — he can cash in for a World Title shot whenever he chooses.
Eddie Edwards holds a guaranteed World Title opportunity courtesy of the Feast or Fired briefcase.
And Leon Slater… well, Daria Rae will be pushing him to invoke Option C — the X Division Champion’s once-in-a-lifetime chance to trade the X Title for a shot at the big one.
