Steel Cage Chaos! Exclusive Predictions for TNA Lockdown

TNA Wrestling returns to one of its most iconic and unforgiving pay-per-view concepts: Lockdown. In 2026, the entire card is contested inside the unforgiving Six Sides of Steel, meaning there is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no friends to interfere.

We posted the updated card earlier and all matches are now confirmed, we are in for an evening of career-defining violence!

Here are my official predictions for TNA Lockdown 2026.

Grudge Match Inside the Cage

Elijah defeats AJ Francis

This is a classic clash of charisma and ego. Elijah, the smooth operator, has been pushed too far by the brash, "Big Boom" AJ Francis. Inside the cage, there is no room for Francis to hide behind his associates.

Elijah’s veteran experience and technical savvy will be the deciding factor. I’m predicting Elijah will find a way to outsmart the powerhouse and pick up the victory in a hard-hitting opener.

4-on-1 Handicap Cage Match

The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, JDC, and Alisha Edwards) defeats KC Navarro, Jada Stone, Ricky Sosa, and Fabian Aincher

This is a match where the odds are mathematically stacked against the challengers. The System (led by the current TNA World Champion, Moose) is an oiled machine of dominance, using their numbers to systematically dismantle anyone who crosses them.

While the team of Navarro, Stone, Sosa, and Aincher is hungry and talented, they lack the cohesion and ruthless efficiency of The System. I’m picking The System to assert their dominance, using the cage environment to isolate and destroy their opponents one by one.

TNA International Championship Cage Match

Jason Hotch (c) defeats Mustafa Ali

This is a match that promises to be a technical masterpiece. Jason Hotch has stepped up in a massive way, proving himself as a fighting International Champion. In Mustafa Ali, he faces one of the most skilled and cunning competitors in the world. Ali will use the cage walls to add an aerial dimension to his offense that Hotch has never seen.

However, "The Good Hands" member has shown an uncanny ability to adapt. I’m going with a controversial finish, perhaps with Hotch using the cage door or the referee as a distraction to eke out a win and retain his title.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Cage Match

Allie and Rosemary (c) (The Hive) defeats The Elegance Brand

This is pure, dark magic versus high-society manipulation. The Undead Realm is a dangerous place, and inside a steel cage, Rosemary is in her element. The Elegance Brand (the glamorous duo of Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans, with Jai Vidal) has used numbers and distraction to get under the champions' skin. But inside the cage, it’s a fair fight (for the competitors inside).

I’m predicting The Hive will utilize the enclosed space to their advantage, with Allie and Rosemary overwhelming The Elegance Brand with their unique chemistry and intensity to retain the gold.

TNA X-Division Championship Cage Match

Leon Slater defeats Cedric Alexander (c)

This has "Match of the Night" written all over it. Cedric Alexander, the veteran X-Division Champion, is facing the challenge of his life in "The Limitless" Leon Slater. Slater is the future, a high-flyer with no regard for his own safety, which makes him incredibly dangerous. Alexander will try to ground Slater and use his superior technical wrestling, but the cage environment favors Slater's aerial game.

My pick is the high-risk, gravity-defying spots will be the story of the match. Slater will hit a spectacular finisher from the very top of the Six Sides of Steel to shock the world and win the X-Division Championship.

TNA Knockouts Championship Cage Match

Elayna Black defeats Xia Brookside (c)

This is the biggest test for the "Golden Girl," Xia Brookside. She has managed to outsmart and out-wrestle the division, but she hasn't faced anyone like "The Witch" Elayna Black. Black brings a sinister, unpredictable energy to the ring. The cage will only magnify this, making Brookside feel trapped with a nightmare.

I predict the psychological toll of being locked inside with Black will get to Brookside. Black will find the opening to hit her finisher and usher in a new era of darkness in the Knockouts Division.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Cage Match

The Hardys (c) defeats The Nemeths (Nic and Ryan)

This is personal. The legendary Hardys (Matt and Jeff) are facing a new generation of hungry, athletic superstars in Nic and Ryan Nemeth. The Nemeths have the speed and youth advantage, but the Hardys are the masters of chaos and have lived their entire careers in various forms of steel cages.

This match will be a brawl, not a wrestling match. I predict Matt Hardy will use his wiles to set up Ryan for a "Twist of Fate" off the top rope, allowing Jeff to follow up with a "Swanton Bomb" onto a chair for the victory, retaining the titles in a brutal, nostalgic classic.

Main Event: Steel Cage Escape Match

Moose defeats Frankie Kazarian

This is the main event, and the stakes could not be higher. The TNA World Champion, Moose, is at the height of his power and paranoia. Frankie Kazarian is a grizzled veteran who has been chasing this moment his entire career. In an "Escape The Cage" match, the winner is the first man to have both feet touch the floor outside the ring. This favors Kazarian's intelligence and agility, as he will try to climb out while Moose tries to dominate the fight.

I predict a controversial and violent conclusion. Moose will use his brute strength to counter one of Kazarian's escape attempts, perhaps powerbombing him from the top rope back into the ring, before casually walking out the door while Kazarian is incapacitated inside. Moose retains, proving there is no escape from The System.
