TNA X Division Champ Leon Slater Added to WWE SNME

It’s been an incredible year for 18-year-old TNA’s Leon Slater, rising from virtual unknown to earning a spot on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, featuring the historical occasion of John Cena’s final match!

Slater, the current TNA X Division Champion, captured the title on July 20, 2025, at Slammiversary. He defeated former X and World Champion Moose in a hard-fought match, becoming the youngest X Division Champ ever.

During last night’s Raw, it was announced that Slater and fellow 18-year-old phenom Je'Von Evans will face AJ Styles and Dragon Lee at SNME on December 13, 2025, an event that will air on NBC and Peacock.

Evans and Slater delivered what many are calling a match-of-the-year candidate at Bound for Glory. For Slater, merely being part of this high-profile card is a major milestone in his career; a victory would be the cherry on top of an already breakout year for him.
