Top 5 Matches That Should Have Been on WrestleMania 42

WWE WrestleMania 42 was stacked, but there were still some big rivalries and dream matches that got left off the card. Here are my Top 5 matches that really should have happened at Mania

You can find all of my Top 5’s and Top 10’s, and the latest podcast below. #AutismAwareness

Top 5 Matches That Should Have Been on WrestleMania 42

  1. El Grande Americano vs. The OG El Grande Americano
This match absolutely should have been on WrestleMania 42. The whole El Grande Americano storyline has been hilarious and chaotic. It feels like a missed opportunity that it’s instead happening at a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide event instead of on the biggest stage.

  2. Natalya vs. Maxxine Dupri
The rivalry between Nattie and Maxxine Dupri needs to keep going until it’s properly settled. Even though it won’t end at WrestleMania, we’re at least getting Nattie vs. Maxxine on WWE Raw next Monday. Still feels like it deserved a much bigger spotlight.

  3. Alpha Academy vs. American Made
This rivalry isn’t over yet. Once the OG El Grande Americano is finally unmasked, American Made vs. Alpha Academy should happen to fully settle the score. It would’ve been a perfect tag team match for WrestleMania, but hopefully we get the blowoff soon on Raw.

  4. B-Fab & Michin vs. Iyo Sky & Mystery Partner
Iyo Sky desperately needs a mystery tag partner, and B-Fab & Michin are the perfect team to face them. This tag match is reportedly happening on the next SmackDown as one step closer to revealing Iyo’s new partner. It had real potential to be a fun, high-energy Mania match.

  5. Roxanne Perez vs. Raquel Rodriguez
One member of The Judgment Day clearly has limitations holding the group back right now. Roxanne Perez vs. Raquel Rodriguez on the Raw after WrestleMania feels like the place where that tension finally explodes. This could be a big singles match to address the internal issues in Judgment Day.
