Unknown AEW Talents Refuse to Lose?!

AEW had to cancel a Collision match after newcomers Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell decided they were too good to lose in three minutes, so they simply walked out without competing! Meanwhile, Hyan and Maya World stepped up gladly and took their spots, showing true professionalism in the process.

When I first saw this news, I couldn’t believe it—it was really unexpected and surprising. Honestly, what were they thinking? To me, they’re done in AEW. I don’t know if they still have contracts, but one thing is clear: they won’t win anything important.

An owner or booker can't trust people like that, and most know why. This was only their second match! They've done nothing in wrestling to just walk away from a televised match.

They really ought to be ashamed of themselves and offering a sincere apology, instead of going out drinking and retweeting fans who are supporting them. Such behavior only makes the situation worse and shows a lack of responsibility.

It’s time to grow up ladies, which you’ll definitely have plenty of time to do while working your way through the indies! You think AEW is tough? Just wait until you find about promotions like Wrestling Atomic!

According to Fightful:

  • The match was canceled after they reportedly wanted more than the allotted three minutes for their match, despite knowing they were booked to lose.

  • AEW officials were said to be shocked by the situation, with Alize being more outspoken about it both at the venue and online.

  • Several wrestlers who know the pair felt they should have handled the situation differently.
