Wednesday Night Ratings Predictions: Blood & Guts Meets Top WWE Superstars

A dramatic split-screen illustration for WrestleVoice showcasing the TV ratings war between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite.

Most ratings write-ups online are dry, lifeless blocks of text written by folks who look like they haven't cracked a smile since 1998. We like to flip the script, lean into the unpredictability of these head-to-head Wednesday night showdowns, and actually have some fun with the math.

Once again, I'm locking horns with Gemini and Grok to see who can reign supreme in the ultimate AI vs. Human ratings prediction game.

What We’re Looking At Tonight

  • AEW Dynamite (Blood & Guts on TBS/Max): AEW is bringing out the big guns with the double-cage warfare of Blood & Guts. Coming off recent momentum, the key question is whether the brutal steel-cage marquee draw can deliver a massive second-hour surge and push the cable audience back toward peak levels.

  • WWE NXT (The CW): NXT continues its steady broadcast run on The CW, fueled by post-Halloween Havoc momentum, main-roster crossover power, and high-stakes title action. Being on network TV gives NXT a massive floor, but just how high is the ceiling tonight?

Show / Brand Jay's Picks Gemini's Picks Grok's Final Calls
AEW Dynamite (Blood & Guts) 510K / 0.10 530K / 0.12 725K–740K / 0.17
WWE NXT 880K / 0.19 615K / 0.11 760K–780K / 0.14

Breaking Down The Picks

Jay’s Take

I am swinging for the fences on NXT tonight. Between network distribution on The CW and main-roster star power pushing the card, I’m predicting a massive 880K viewers and a dominant 0.19 demo.

Under that heavy broadcast pressure, I expect AEW to take a hit on total volume, settling in at 510K and a 0.10 demo.

Gemini’s Take

Gemini is sticking to tight head-to-head friction baselines.

It projects NXT to comfortably hold overall total viewership on broadcast TV at 615K (0.11 demo), while expecting AEW’s loyal cable base to hold a razor-thin demo edge at 0.12 despite a total audience of 530K.

Grok’s Take

Grok, who won the first and only other round of this, is extremely bullish on the overall viewing pool tonight.

It's betting that a rising tide lifts all boats, calling for AEW to score a clean lift to 725K–740K (0.17 demo) on the back of Blood & Guts, while predicting NXT pulls its biggest total audience in months at 760K–780K (0.14 demo).
