WWE Should Cut Ties with Kid Rock ASAP
WWE has a dedicated celebrity wing within their Hall of Fame, and Kid Rock proudly holds a place in this prestigious group. He has contributed significantly by creating memorable theme songs for wrestling legends like The Undertaker and Stacy Keibler.
In addition to his musical contributions, Kid Rock has performed live at major WWE events, including Monday Night Raw and the grand stage of WrestleMania, further cementing his connection to the wrestling world.
With that said, he showed his true colors quite clearly this week, and unfortunately, they are all yellow. He used the R-Word, but it was so much worse than that.
Because he said he was going to dress as one for Halloween, which got a big laugh from the Fox News host.
This choice of language reveals a lack of sensitivity and understanding that is deeply disappointing. Especially coming from a friend of TKO/WWE, who has partnered with organizations like the Ad Council to promote mental health awareness.
The biggest being NOBODY is rapping about the R-Word! The Black community decided to keep that word around, they can stop using it whenever they’d like. People with mental issues, hate that f-n word, we don’t use it, which means you shouldn’t.
Now Kid Rock puts it out there as a Halloween costume or joke, and look at how people reacted. Most laughed and immediately made it about political sides, but it’s really not about that at all!
I’m not being soft or overly sensitive for believing that NOBODY, regardless of background or opinion, should be using that word.
How many of you get upset or pretend to cry every day about the N-word, even though it doesn’t really affect you? And remember, the black community now holds a candle to the word, rapping about it and using it in every other sentence, after their much smarter predecessors wanted it gone.
The majority of people know someone with mental health problems, if you don’t have one of yourself. So here’s a test: call the person nearest to you who might be struggling, and when they answer, try calling them the R-word.
No? It doesn’t feel right or funny when it’s someone you genuinely care about, does it? Exactly—tell me about it! Words have weight, especially coming from celebrities like Kid Rock.
Let me finish by speaking to Kid personally, mfer, you are a 54 year-old-father, calling yourself Kid and acting like one. It’s time to grow up now, not everything is Red and Blue, it’s actually mostly grey. But I’m probably speaking too smart for you now, stick with the Fox Fluff, Kid.
