This was the kind of clash that easily could have headlined a Friday night on SmackDown. Both guys are over with the crowd, but they are constantly fighting for TV real estate, making every exchange feel urgent.
The action kept building and getting faster as the match progressed, culminating in a frantic sequence of late counters—mostly dictated by Melo. Capitalizing on the rapid-fire reversals, Hayes ultimately hit his finisher to secure a hard-fought victory. It's a tough loss for Saints given how sharp he looked, but the execution and pacing were phenomenal.

The LWO def. Harlem Lewis and Harley Riggins
This match hit that classic, favorite dynamic of speed and flippy style clashing against power. It feels like the kind of talent showcased in EVOLVE—a perfect fit for the platform.
While Harlem Lewis and Harley Riggins are newer faces to watch, the LWO proved once again why they are an underrated, exceptionally fun team.
The right team walked away with the win as the veterans picked up the victory, with Joaquin tapping out Riggins to seal the deal.

Lyra Valkyria def. Wren Sinclair
With Lyra currently finding her footing without Bayley by her side, putting her in this spot is a smart way to keep her moving forward. Lyra took control early on, but Wren mounted a strong comeback to keep things competitive.
Ultimately, the right woman won; the former Intercontinental Champion used her experience to make the Speed Champion tap out.
Easily standing out as one of the best episodes of Main Event in recent memory.
