Lizzy Rain vs. Ivy Nile
Result: Ivy Nile def. Lizzy Rain
Grade: B+
Notes: Ivy continues to show her growth with another strong outing. Lizzy Rain’s 80s-rocker aesthetic feels like a perfect fit for this show—she doesn't need to be over-explained, she just delivers in the ring.
The match was a great back-and-forth, with Ivy largely controlling the pace, only for Lizzy to mount a late rally that kept things tense. I love being wrong on the finish; it’s a reminder that matches shouldn't be obvious, and this one kept me guessing until the end.
Je’Von Evans vs. Grayson Waller
Result: Je’Von Evans def. Grayson Waller
Grade: A
Notes: This felt like a premium Raw or SmackDown-level bout that just happened to be on Main Event. They actually took the action outside this time, which added a nice layer of intensity.
Waller did a great job grounded Evans and cutting off his aerial offense, but Evans eventually broke through—the height he got on that leap over the top rope was absolutely ridiculous. A fast-paced, high-quality contest.
Overall Show Grade: A-
This episode was a total win. Between the technical intensity of the women’s opener and the high-flying, "too good for a standard taping" energy of the main event, the show felt lean and focused.
It’s refreshing to see Main Event used as a true testing ground where the matches feel like they actually matter.
