WWE Main Event Results & Review – May 28, 2026 A Damn Good Night on the YouTube Show

wwe main event review may 28 2026

Another week, another episode of WWE Main Event that actually delivered the goods. After last week’s snoozer, this one bounced back hard and reminded everyone why we still carve out time for these shows.

You can watch the show now for free on WWE’s official YouTube channel.

WWE Main Event: May 28, 2026 Results

  • Axiom (w/ Nathan Frazer) def. Kit Wilson

This was the match of the night.

I’ve been a fan of Axiom for a while, but credit where it’s due — Kit Wilson just had the best singles match I’ve ever seen from him. The guy brought fire, crisp offense, and some real personality in there.

Paired with Axiom’s speed and Frazer’s presence at ringside, this thing was non-stop fun from bell to bell. The crowd was fully invested, popping for big spots and even the little chain wrestling sequences. Easily Match of the Night.

If this is the level Kit can hit when given the chance, we need to see more of him in singles action.

  • Ivy Nile def. Karmen Petrovic

Another banger.

Ivy Nile is quietly (or not so quietly) becoming the Main Event MVP over the last month or so. She just looks like an absolute beast every time she steps in the ring — powerful, athletic, and always in control.

Karmen Petrovic brought her A-game too, and the two of them had some excellent back-and-forth action that felt like a natural step up from the opener in physicality while keeping the same high energy.

Strong, competitive women’s match that didn’t overstay its welcome. These two absolutely delivered.

  • Main Event: Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa & Otis) def. BirthRight (Uriah Connors & Charlie Dempsey)

Solid, but a noticeable step down.Otis is always going to get the crowd going with his antics, and there were some fun moments here. Tozawa and the BirthRight guys held up their end fine, and the right team went over in the end.

But after the two absolute heaters that started the show, this one felt like it belonged in the middle rather than closing things out.

It wasn’t bad by any means — just not on the same level as the first two matches. A little more juice or a hotter finishing sequence could’ve sent the episode home on an even bigger high.

Overall Rating: 8.9/10

This was a really strong episode of Main Event. The first two matches were must-watch television, and even the main event was perfectly fine for what it was.

The pacing would’ve been better with Alpha Academy in the middle slot, but that’s a small complaint on an otherwise excellent show.

Huge step up from last week.If you’ve got a few minutes and want to see some really good wrestling, go watch the first two matches. You won’t regret it.
