WWE Money in the Bank 2026 Review: Women Steal The Show

Tiffany Stratton triumphantly holding up the Money in the Bank briefcase in the ring after winning the women's ladder match.

WWE Money in the Bank 2026 delivered a heavy-hitting first half packed with chaotic brawls, terrifying ladder bumps, and massive title shifts that set a high bar for the rest of the night.

We’ve got the official highlights and results, plus our full review — enjoy the read!

Overall Show Grade: B+

The Wild Opening & World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight

Match Grade: B-

The Breakdown: Roman defended his title against LA Knight in a solid, hard-fought battle. While the outcome felt predictable with a clear winner from the start, the match delivered strong action before Roman put things away.

Immediately following the bell, the night truly blew wide open as 946 swarmed through the crowd, sparking a massive arena-wide brawl with The Bloodline that spilled everywhere and ended with Jaida Parker pulling up in a truck for a wild getaway.

Post-Match Brawl Grade: A

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Grade: A

The Breakdown: An absolute car-crash masterclass of a ladder match that featured heart-stopping moments from start to finish. Tiffany Stratton suffered a terrifying early botch when a ladder gave way on a dive, bashing her head against the mat, but she showed incredible toughness by bouncing right back up.

The carnage escalated with Sol Ruca driving a frog splash through a broken ladder onto Lash Legend, followed by Lola Vice and Jacy Jayne taking a brutal backward tumble off a ladder to the arena floor. Surviving the chaos, Tiffany ultimately climbed back to the top to capture her second briefcase.

Our friend agreed — check out what superfan and supermodel Jeanette had to say, and be sure to give her a follow.

Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed

Grade: B-

The Breakdown: A powerful clash of titans where Oba Femi continued to showcase his dominant presence. Though the winner never felt truly in doubt, the match hit a gear of high drama when The Vision intervened, sliding brass knuckles to Bronson Reed.

After eating clean punches and Reed's finisher for a two-count, Oba powered through, tossed Logan out, took care of Austin, and secured the victory in a solid, workhorse encounter.

Women's World Championship Triple Threat: Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Becky Lynch

Grade: A

The Breakdown: The women continued to rule the night with another top-tier championship match. The triple threat felt intense and unpredictable, highlighted by Becky Lynch's ongoing ringside antics with referee Jessica Carr.

With Tiffany's freshly won briefcase looming over everyone's heads as an active threat, the action stayed at a frantic pace until Liv capitalized on the chaos and hit ObLIVion to capture the title.

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Grade: C+

The Breakdown: A sluggish and frustrating match that felt like it was moving in slow motion compared to the women's opener. The pacing dragged, featuring a mix of cool spots and awkward botches while the crowd remained mostly dead until Lil Yachty woke them up.

The match hit a major speed bump with a heavy-handed injury angle involving J'Von Evans getting stretchered out and loaded into an ambulance—a heavy-handed trope in an era of real-life injuries.

It turned out to be a total work when Evans dramatically returned to toss someone through the ambulance for a cool visual, but spending that much broadcast time on the ambulance theater felt like a massive waste.

While the action picked up in the final minutes with Penta ultimately winning, the overdone BS left a lot to be desired, especially with another face walking away with the briefcase instead of a much more fun, heat-generating heel.
