WWE NXT Lets Fans “Choose Your Own Finish” Before Stand and Deliver

WWE NXT Lets Fans “Choose Your Own Finish” Before Stand and Deliver

Remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books from the '80s and '90s?

You were the hero, every few pages you'd pick your fate — open the creepy door (turn to page 42), run away screaming (turn to page 17, where you still get eaten), try negotiating with goblins, etc.

WWE just dropped their own version on NXT.

Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey battled in a #1 contender match for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver this Saturday.

Simple stakes. Then the finish: a pin and a tap at the exact same time. The match ended in glorious confusion.

And WWE’s official tweet? “A PIN AND A TAP?!?! Who is going to Stand & Deliver?” With shocked emojis and the two women’s handles, like they’re running a Twitter poll for the booking.

Congratulations, Triple H. You turned wrestling into the world’s most expensive game of “Figure It Out, Fans.”

There are zero NXT episodes left before the PLE. So instead of deciding like normal humans, we’re apparently getting the resolution on social media… or maybe they’ll just wing it on Saturday.

This isn’t protecting anyone. It’s the wrestling version of your dad saying “We’ll talk about it later” and then ghosting you until Thanksgiving.

So here we are in the ultimate Choose Your Own Adventure ending: the book just stops mid-sentence and the back cover says “To be continued… maybe on TikTok.

”Pick a winner, book the triple threat, flip a coin on camera — anything. Right now the only page we’ve got is: Turn to page 999: Sit in confused silence until Saturday.

WWE choose adventure

Great job, NXT. You didn’t book a non-finish. You booked a Choose Your Own Non-Adventure.

See you at Stand & Deliver… I guess?
