NXT Roster Shake-Up: WWE Cuts 10 Developmental and Performance Center Names

This fresh wave of NXT and developmental cuts hit hard, and losing talent like Jasper Troy, Anya Rune, and Adrianna Rizzo stings because all three genuinely felt like they had high-ceiling upside in the system.

We have the full list of names confirmed in this September 2026 developmental sweep.

Latest WWE NXT Releases

  • Jasper Troy — Undeniably the biggest shocker of the group. As a former WWE Speed Champion and the winner of WWE LFG Season 1, he had a unique explosive style and felt like a lock to eventually anchor a main television spot.

  • Adrianna Rizzo — Known for her sharp work rounding out the D'Angelo Family and her gritty in-ring style. She just recently returned to action over the summer following a tough knee injury layoff, making this cut particularly rough timing.

  • Anya Rune — Brought in as part of the WWE ID / EVOLVE developmental pipeline, she was a fascinating prospect whom many analysts were keeping an eye on to develop her ceiling.

  • Wendy Choo — A veteran presence in the PC who transitioned from her popular sleepy pajama gimmick into a much sharper, darker edge.

  • PJ Vasa — Another promising developmental name out of the EVOLVE system.

  • Zena Sterling — Part of the newer wave of Performance Center and EVOLVE/LFG prospects.

  • Braxton Cole

  • Marcus Brown — A bodybuilder and fitness standout from the rookie classes who hadn't even fully cracked television yet.

  • Ellen Akesson

  • Gary Wilson (Referee)

Troy and the rest of the NXT cuts are already signaling a standard 30-day non-compete countdown, so it'll be interesting to see who lands where once they hit the open market.

Note: This is a developing story. We will continue updating this page if further releases or additional details emerge.
